The Great Commandment

May's workshops were great! You got to help others, learn what it means to love others and make a visual reminder to do so!

In the audio visual workshop, you were asked three questions. Here are some random answers to those questions:

1. How Do I Love God?
  • praying and reading the Bible
  • coming to Sunday School
  • being kind
  • coming to church
2. How Do I Love Others?
  • be nice
  • tell them about God and pray for them
  • helping the to succeed
  • respecting others
  • talking to them
3. How I Love Myself...
  • giving myself hugs
  • build up my self esteem
  • being nice to myself
  • going to school and learning
  • being myself
  • I don't hurt me
Awesome answers everyone!

Natalie Rocks!

I wish I had a picture...but they didn't allow them! Last night I went to see Natalie in "The Wizard of Oz Jr." She played a flying monkey and did a GREAT job! I hope this will not be the last play Natalie gets to perform in at Kirk Community Center!

Memory Verse

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.'This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Matthew 22:37-39

I'm BAAACK!

Hi Everyone!

I got back Sunday evening and now have to get back into work mode! :) The conference was great and Craig was really, really, REALLY funny! We got to meet two of his kids (his daughter was on a field trip and didn't want to miss it...she was adopted from Kazakhstan) and found out that Natalie no longer works for Craig. She married one of the Pastors and the church has a rule that you cannot be married to anyone else on staff.

I hope you are enjoying "Rescue 911" and I can'r wait to see what they have for us this week!

A new rotation starts on the 14th so Sunday I will be writing down who has April's verse memorized and by tomorrow I will try and have this month's verse here on the blog. So, be sure to check it out!

I'll post some photos later!
